Sport News: Reasons why Kylian Mbappe snubbed Madrid to stay at PSG.

Reasons why Kylian Mbappe snubbed Madrid to stay at PSG.

Just recently, we witnessed the dramatic end to  one of football's most controversial transfer sagas, as Mbappe finally signed  a new contract to remain at PSG. For most of the past one year, it looked  pretty certain that he would move to Madrid.

Even just a few days before he signed that  contract, he had promised Madrid president Florentino Perez that he would move to the club. But all that changed after a late dramatic twist, as Mbappe made a U-turn,  opting to stay at PSG instead. This really annoyed Madrid, and they have since come out to express their displeasure.

5 reasons why Mbappe snubbed Madrid to stay at PSG.

1.  Zidane could be hired as the new coach: Last year, PSG signed Messi and were tipped to blow everyone away with their new team. No  kidding, they were the top favorites for the champions league and some even suggested that  they'd win all their league games this season. However, this was not the case as they  got knocked out in the round of 16 in both the champions league and their domestic  Cup. And although they won the French league, they struggled in many games against much weaker  opposition. And just like in most clubs who underachieve in a season, there was only one man  to blame here. The coach, Mauricio Pochettino. And now it's looking increasingly likely  that he will be sacked this summer and replaced with Zidane. Not only is Zidane his  fellow Frenchman, he is also the manager who won Madrid the historical 3-consecutive  champions league titles few years ago So when you consider that the glamour  of winning the champions league was used by Madrid to lure him, you  would agree that the prospect of signing Zidane must have played  a huge role in making him stay.

2.         Neymar could be leaving the club: In recent months, there have been rumors that the relationship between Neymar and Mbappe  has become just a little bit complicated. Some suggest it's even strained at this point. During  a game, he was spotted ranting on the bench after being subbed off. The cause of this rant was that  Neymar wasn't passing to him during the game. He even admitted to calling the Brazilian a bum  at some point. Although Mbappe has come out to deny that their relationship is damaged,  we're not sure that's really the case. To further complicate things, it is also  rumored that Mbappe requested that Neymar be sold away from the club. And now, he just may  have been offered that, just to make him stay. Well, we're not sure what Mbappe hopes  to achieve if he really wants Neymar out, but don't you think it'll be bad for the club?

3.         They want to sign Dembele: We already mentioned that Mbappe wanted  Neymar out. Well it also appears that he wants Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele  to replace him. Surprising, right? Sure, we know Neymar doesn't have a very great fitness  record, but replacing him with Dembele? Come oonn. We mean, that doesn't really seem like a good  idea. Unless perhaps Mbappe has a score to settle with the club's physios and hopes to  do that by giving them loads of extra work. Well he just might get his wishes, because it  seems the signing of Dembele was one of his conditions for signing this new contract. Also,  Dembele's contract at Barca is up this summer, and is looking to leave the club.  Guess we'll see how that goes.

4.         PSG offered to make him a key part of their sporting project Imagine you were a player who wanted a teammate  sold and then imagine you were given the power to make that happen. Well that's currently the case of Kylian Mbappe. As part of the strategy to keep him, PSG offered him a say in player transfers.  And it's not just players he'll be choosing, he will now have a say in the hiring process for coaches in the future. Forget their president Nasser Al-Khelaifi,  Mbappe now seems to be the king of PSG. No kidding, the man's now so powerful at the club, he could probably get Messi sold to Sheffield United with just a phone call.  Hehe, okay, that's not going to happen. But the point is, this extra power he was  given must have played a role in making him stay. And can you blame him? It would have been  difficult to turn down the chance to be king. Now, we're not sure how that will  go for the club in the long term. We don't think it's a very good idea to hand that  much power to a single player. Don't you agree?

5.         He was made an offer he could not refuse: at this point if you wish to throw away everything we've said since the beginning of  this video you would still be justified. In our opinion - and we're sure most people agree with  us - the money was the main reason he stayed. Well just in case you're not sure just how much  we're talking about, here is a breakdown. First, he's getting 100 million pounds just for signing  the contract. as if that were not enough, he will also get bonuses for goals scored,  Balon d'or awards and champions league success. Add all that to the wages he will be receiving,  which is around 1 million pounds per week. Now, we understand receiving bonuses for  champions league and Balon d'Or triumphs, but goal bonuses? Really? That's literally  what he gets paid 1 million a week to do. Really, this is big money. We're talking  bizarre level for any footballer, and we can't even blame Mbappe for  giving up his dreams for the money. Because if all that money was thrown  in our faces by Nasser Al-Khelaifi, we would give up our dreams too and play for PSG. Hehehe, okay, just kidding. Or maybe not. But do let us know what you think in the  comments section. Do you think Mbappe made the right decision to stay? Do you think he  was given just too much? We would like to hear everything. Graduate assistant lecturers in the Bayelsa State-owned Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island, Amassomma, are being owed 15 months salaries.  It was also learnt that some professors who had been on sabbatical at the university had also not been paid their allowances for more than a year.  The professors were formally engaged “to assist the university in teaching and research.”  It was further learnt that the affected graduate assistant lecturers were duly employed by the authorities of the institution in October, 2013, to meet the manpower needs of the institution.  The National Universities Commission had in 2012 withdrawn accreditation for five courses of study, including Law, at the university, citing lack of qualified academic staff and adequate infrastructure.  The NUC also placed 22 other programmes of the school on suspension pending the time the authorities would satisfy the requirements to run such courses.  Sources said all pleas to Governor Seriake Dickson by the

The commission, which said there was nothing it could do in the matter, also said it had not received any petition against President Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party, Buhari and other presidential candidates, more than seven days after displaying their particulars.
